During the British rule in India, the freedom struggle became very intense in the beinning of 20th Century. The British government started arresting the freedom fighters who spoke against the British rule. So, they moved to Puducherry which was ruled by French. The freedom fighters while in Puducherry, printed mangazines, newspapers and sent them to Tamil Nadu. The impact of this was realised in Puducherry also  as in Puducherry also the thirst for freedom from French rule spread. Many leaders following Tamil Nadu gathered courage and fought against the Frenchy rule in Puducherry. This book is about the history of freedom struggle in Puducherry and all about the freedom fighters who took part in the freedom struggle.
